Southern Paradise

Change of plans.... The girls & I bought tickets to Savannah on a whim last night! Only 9 days till we are soaking up rays in my most favorite place, my little southern paradise.

Craftcation 2012

Grils trip this year is a little craftcation getaway! We rented a little cabin down near a lake. So it'll be 3 girls, 3 sewing michines, and 3 nights. I'm am so excited for a break, and especially one with some of my favorite people! No alarm clock, no scheduel, no meetings. And, nothing will be for sale. It's just us doing what we love. We've got a long list of projects we'd like to cover, but most of all it'll just be rejuvinating. Come on vacation!....

Kentucky style....

The girls & I planned on going to the Kentucky Derby for our annual girls trip this year. But, we are Craftcationing instead. So.... I'm bringing the spirit of the derby here! Hats, Juleps & all. I'll try to post pics! We have some fun ideas in mind...

Easter Swap!

A few years ago I began doing these, but I haven't every really blogged them yet. It started at easter after a nasty breakup, and a harsh realization that I wouldn't be getting an easter basket! What?! So... I set up an easter lunch with my freinds and we swapped easter baskets. And with all my fabulously creative friends, it was the BEST IDEA EVER! Everyone is so crafty! They are the most amazing adult easter/spring baskets.
So that turned into a Halloween/Fall swap, Christmas Swap, and Valentine's Day swaps as well. This year will be the 3rd annual
easter swap! So, I'll be better about blogging some of the fabulousness this time around. Stay tunned...

So Proud of You

Today is B's 4 yr. anniversary as a police officer. It wasn't until being with one, that you realize just how much they do. (Which is wayyy more than just writing tickets.) I'm so proud of B, today & everyday. We are all lucky to have great men like him out there protecting us.

9 Months!

Today is 9 months with my B & that makes today GREAT! Regardless of the crazy work scheduels, rain, and overall current caos.
I am one lucky girl.

Now reality is sinking in...

It's really happening huh? Wow, I am starting to feel it..... just a few more days.

8 Months!

Today is a great day- it's 8 months ago that me & B started dating. I love this man so much. And, I love that we celebrate all our milestones along the way, 8 months isn't a big deal to most, but it's a little celebration of us. And that is a big deal to me. With all the events, and carreers, and busy busy lives that we both have, I love that we make time for eachother, everyday. It means a lot to have such a great companion to share it all with.

My Valentine

It's been so so busy, that I haven't blogged much lately- but Valentine's this year was just too good not to...
The pic on the left, that was my lunch date. B pulled up with the balloon, "Love Ape", Roses, & Chocolates.
I was just excited to get him for lunch! Then dinner was a suprise. We were supposed to go to Urban Table, but the saturday before our brilliant waiter blew B's suprise. So, B came up with a plan B, which was amazing!! We went to the melting pot, he had reserved one of the private little rooms with the fancy red velvet curtains. And, when we got there, another dozen roses were waiting. We had an amazing dinner, a great wine, and it was filled with pictures, laughter, love, and chocolate. We returned home to a "Love Fort" which was so fun with the white lights. Even with all the extravogant fun, my favorite part is who I got to spend it with. I'm a lucky lucky girl to have the greatest man. He's hard to even put into words. Overall, best valentine's day EVER. I don't think that one can be beat.

Cut & Paste Design Battle

I've been chossen to participate in the Cut & Paste Design Battle next week! It's a global design challenge, designers are on stage competing against eachother in front of a live audiance. Design "heats" are only 15 minutes, and broken down into two rounds.
This should be fun, exciting, and slightly terrifying at the same time..

happy 7 months

today makes 7 months since the perfect man walked into my life- I couldn't imagine finding someone as great & amazing as him before, and now I can't imagine life without him.
